Stage 3: the fact that your vanity takes over the real idea of Twitter and you try to have as many followers as you can, so you follow everybody that has more followers than you have …
Stage 4: Yes you are addicted and you have the feeling you’ll miss something if you’re not connected 24/7. The result is geekness, divorce, …

They forget Stage 5! This is the stage where you really understand what Twitter is about and you use is as a tool. No more obsessive following, no longer the constant eye on what’s going on in the geek-world of your connected “friends”.
